Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Synapse, operated by Synapse Connect. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter into a binding contract, and a verified healthcare professional or healthcare-affiliated worker to use Synapse. You agree to provide accurate verification information.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. You agree not to share access to your account, impersonate another person, or misrepresent your credentials. We may suspend or terminate accounts found to be fraudulent or in violation of these Terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Synapse to harass, threaten, defraud, or harm any other user; to upload unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit content involving minors; to scrape or extract user data; or to solicit users for purposes unrelated to dating and authentic connection.
Subscriptions and payments
Some features of Synapse are offered through a paid subscription (Synapse+). Subscriptions are billed through the App Store, processed via RevenueCat, and are subject to Apple's billing terms. You may cancel or manage your subscription from your device's Subscriptions settings. Refunds, where available, are processed by Apple.
Verification and matching
Synapse verifies user credentials but does not guarantee any user's character, conduct, or compatibility. You are responsible for your own safety when meeting other users. We recommend meeting in public places and informing a friend of your plans.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access for any violation of these Terms, fraud, or risk to other users.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Synapse is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synapse Connect disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of Synapse after a change constitutes acceptance.
